why I requested this book

My kids love this series AND we're learning about mummies right now! Would be great for students to explore a story including our mummy study.

Our bilingual classroom is full of very creative and hardworking students who are curious about the world and are self-motivated learners! 95% of our students come from low-income households; 52% of our school identify as Latino and 47% are African-American. 11.1% are English Language Learners which make up a large part of our classroom. My kids are passionate and creative who love to curl up with a book and be transported into different worlds, from that of Pete the Cat to the Pyrenees Mountains.
